At 7 am, we took breakfast together, until 7.30 am, we
went to Venvi group together by using tricycle. It’s around 15 minutes until
arrived in Condominium auditorium. After arrived there, we directly went to security post for
fill the presence. Then, we do our internship. At 12 pm, we take our break for
lunch and pray together. After finished, we continue our job like copy the
files, arrange and synchronize the documents. At 5.09 pm, its time for go home. Before go to our
dorm, we went to public market for buy some necessary in dorm. Then, we go back
for take a bath and prepared for dinner like usual. At 8.00 pm, we do the
orientation with students who stay in MMSU. It was very nice day, because I can
meet with them. After that, we took a picture together with all of them.
Holiday is coming!! At 7.30 am we do our activities. All of the participants with our coordinator went to some place for salt manufacturer. After arrived there, I saw the process for make and produce the salt. Then, we continue to Lighting house. There, we got an opportunity for takea pictures together, while seeing the beautiful view of the beach. Next, we went to windmill for having fun first before we go to the beach. In here, the wind is very strong. After take a picture in there, we went to the beach with the white sand. It’s very beautiful beach that I ever visited! This beach makes us want to stay there for a long time. At 3.50 pm, we have to go back to our dorm. When 6.00 pm, we went to hospital for visit our friend there. Get well soon Matis!!!
I’m with my friend Zizi do our internship in Venvi Group, because it is the program from SEAMEO. It took a long day that is from morning until evening. There, we are worked such as arrange the files, synchronize the documents, copy the documents, sometime we deliver the documents, and also help ate (ate is when we called someone older than us).When break time, we are going to canteen to look something for lunch. There also the team of Finance Department joined with us. After wait for a minutes, our meal is comes. I ordered the soup with meat. The taste is very delicious. The price is also cheap, only 40 peso I can eat the soup with the meat. Then, after lunch, we back again for continue our job there until 5 pm. After finished our work, we aren’t go back to our dormitory. We went to hypermart for find some food from Philippines. Also, I’m looking for an umbrella, because the weather in this city is rainy. After satisfied, it’s around 8 pm, we go back to our dormitory by tricycle and take a rest for tomorrow.
Day 5 “Work Hard Today”

At 7.00 am, we took our breakfast together before doing our activities. At 7.52 am, we have arrived in the company. It’s very busy day for me and also for my friend Zizi. In this day, we should copy the files to microsoft excel. The files are so much until I and Zizi unable to handle it. But, with help each other we can handle and finished it. At 5.02 pm, we directly went to public market for buy our necessary in dorm. After bought, we walked around the public market for saw the Laoag city that’s very beautiful. After satisfied, we directly went to our dorm by using tricycle. When arrived in the dorm, we prepared for dinner together and after finished, we are talking together in the dining room. In here, we learn some language from another countries. I’m so happy to learn new language. After talked together, we take a rest for tomorrow.
I went from Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta to Manila at 00.10 am and arrived there at 5.30 am. I felt so nervous, because this is my first time to go abroad. After that, I continued to Pasay’s station for find a bus for going to Laoag. I should wait 2 hours in bus station. Then, the bus is come and I go from Manila to Laoag around 10 hours. When I arrived in Laoag it’s around 9.00 pm, and there I saw my coordinator Mr. Jay Pee pick up me by car and directly go to dormitory. There, I met with other Indonesian friends and also from other countries not only from Philippines but also Thailand and Vietnam. It was nice trip for me, because when I went from Indonesia to Philippines, I got many experiences. I can met with other people and can talk with them by using English, that’s very rarely I do it in Indonesia.
Day 2 in Philippines

In the early morning, I’m with my friends Mira and Zizi go around the University by accompany with our buddies,Hasmine. After walked around, the Dean of MMSU greets us. She is very kind and humble. After talked with the dean, we are going to Robinson for hangout by using tricycle and jeepney. In there, I ate Filipino ice cream named Halo-Halo. It was nice day for me and also for my friends. After that, we went to apotic for buy some medicines. We just walking, while look at the Laoag city. We also told about our country, this thing make me deel so happy, because we can change our story together. Then after finished, I went to money changer. At 6.00 pm, we go back to our dorm for take a rest.
Day 3 in Philippines

At 8.00 am, all of the exchange students participants invited by Mr. Jay Pee to visited MMSU in Batac city for doing flag ceremony. After that, all of us introduced to all students there. Then, we met the president from MMSU. She is very humble to us. After meeting with the president of MMSU, we took a picture together in the yard of the university. Next, we went to immigration for manage our student permit. After finished, we directly went to our internship place, named Venvi Group that isn’t far from the immigration. We invited by our supervisor, Ma’am Joy for seen all of the rooms in there. Then, we introduced one by one to all of staffs there. When 5.00 pm, we go back to our dormitory by using jeepney and tricycle.
At 1.00 pm, I went from Syamsudin Noor Airport, Banjarmasin to Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta. Before go there, I asking permition to my parents and family. This is very sad moment for me. After I arrived in Jakarta, it’s around 3 pm. I wait in there maybe 8 hours, but at 6 pm, my family in Jakarta comes for accompany me until check in. I’m so happy and glad to met them.
First, I will introduce myself. I’m Alfat Duta Iswantara, but you can call me Alfat. I’m from Islamic University of Kalimantan, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. I’m so happy to join the SEAMEO program, because I got many experiences and also friends.
